Alison Golfrapp from Twitter on 'The singles deluxe edition'

Ok so now I can say, a Deluxe was never confirmed but somehow word got out it was. We wanted it to happen, but the powers that be, didn't. It's a real shame.....we would love to do something like it in the future though x.
With these words Alison from twitter, has extinguished the fans' last hope about a deluxe edition of their latest compilation 'The singles'. We talked about that a little while ago, and, we really hoped about some confirmation soon, but unfortunately we couldn't find nothing about it.
I wrote her on twitter my feeling about the news, that each goldfrapp album is a 'deluxe edition' in its own way.
Actually, I'm just a little sad because it would be great for Goldfrapp to release something like that. According to the amount of messages I got about it, a lot of fans looked forward to it, even though the item was quite expensive.
However, Alison seems to leave the door open for a possible release in the future, all we have to do is wait for the right time.
Now I can spend my savings for something else :-)
